asc exposure on Nation 'DadTalk' website!

We're really excited about this! Take a look at www.dadtalk.co.uk. On the homepage you'll find an article 'Alcohol - cutting down the units without cutting out the beer!', showcasing our Top Ten Tips & Turn down the V%lume info flyers! We're also 'experts' on their forum, meaning if there are any alcohol related questions that come up, we're notified and respond with the appropriate answer. A fantastic new partnership!

Cocaethylene Press release

Whilst alcohol remains our nation's favourite drug, more and more people are choosing to mix this legal drug with illegal drugs, especially cocaine. In fact a recent BBC3 documentary1 highlighted that 61% of people who take cocaine use this drug alongside alcohol.

With Christmas over, we all feel the pinch. All that overspending during the festive period catches up with us and the pennies are scarce, particularly in the current economic climate. Turn down the V%lume

Don't drink and fry

Luton Picture the scene: after a good night out and a bit worse for wear, get home and feel hungry! Head for the kitchen, start merrily cooking up a feast, move to the lounge to wait for the food to cook, but instead doze off. Things are starting to get messy in the kitchen. The smoke alarm starts its shrill wail, but because of the alcohol and in a semi-comatose state, that shrill wail just does not wake you. After all, alcohol is a powerful toxin, a central nervous system depressant, which affects our judgement and dulls the senses, resulting in not hearing the smoke alarm, or smelling the smoke.
