Young People

Welcome to PUKE – we are the specialist alcohol and other drugs service for all young people in Luton and Bedfordshire. We are not against alcohol but want to make sure you know all the facts – how it affects the body, brain and how we behave. If you know what the risks are then you can make your own choice about drinking. We give you the low down on sensible drinking levels, staying safe and looking after your mates. We also understand that not everyone wants to drink or take drugs, so can help give you the confidence to say NO.

You can come and see us at our base in Luton or Bedford or we can come to where you hang out. We can see you on your own or in a group and everything you tell us will remain private between you and us. The only exception to this is if you or anyone else is at risk of physical or mental harm or neglect. You might want to talk about your own drinking or perhaps someone you know who’s drinking is worrying you. It may just be that you want to know more about alcohol or other drugs generally. We will answer your questions and see you we can support you to solve any problems. If you want to get in touch with us you can phone, email or drop into the project. You can also check out the PUKE Website at PUKE website.
